Temo che nei prossimi mesi l’annuncio sara’ molto frequente: cercherò di tenerne traccia sul blog, per avere una panoramica di cosa ci circonda.

Al vecchio elenco di aziende che stanno tagliando posti di lavoro nel settore ICT (molte delle quali in Italia), pare si possa aggiungere anche SanDisk.

SanDisk is primed to fire up to 15% of its staff, which would amount to around 450 to 500 employees. The purported cuts will be made as the company downsizes in order to cut costs, hot on the heels of a $155 million Q3 loss and sales that have sunk by 21% year-over-year to $281 million. Senza dimenticare LinkedIn che, nel suo piccolo, ha annunciato 36 licenziamenti pari al 10% della forza lavoro. Qualcosa in meno (3%) ha fatto AMD, che lascerà a casa 500 persone.
